Grilled Sweet Baby Broccoli with Turmeric Tahini Sauce

Ingredients
- 2 bunches Cal-Organic Sweet Baby Broccoli
- avocado oil spray
- ¼ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. black pepper
- 1 tbsp. toasted sesame seeds
- 3 tbsp. tahini
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tbsp. maple syrup
- ½ tsp. turmeric
- ½ tsp. fresh ginger, grated
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 2 tbsp. water
- ½ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. pepper
Directions
- Preheat your outdoor grill to medium-high heat, about 400 F. Clean and oil the grates well to prevent sticking.
- Combine the tahini, lemon juice, maple syrup, turmeric, grated fresh ginger, crushed garlic, water, salt, pepper and whisk until smooth.
- Spray the baby broccoli with avocado oil spray and shake on salt and pepper. Toss gently.
- Place the baby broccoli directly on the grill grates perpendicular to the bars so they don’t fall through. Grill 3-4 minutes per side until the stems are tender and the edges are nicely charred.
- Arrange on a platter, drizzle generously with the turmeric tahini sauce and top with toasted sesame seeds.
