Green Bean Casserole

Ingredients
- 4 cups blanched Cal-Organic Green Beans
- 1, 8 oz. can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Baked "Fried" Cal-Organic White Onions
Directions
- Prepare Baked “Fried” Onions using 1 large onion, 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, panko breadcrumbs, 1 large egg and 1 tbsp milk.
- Preheat oven to 475 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place flour into a small bowl. Combine breadcrumbs, salt and pepper into a small bowl. Whisk egg and milk into a small bowl.
- Slice the onion. Individually, dip each onion slice into the flour bowl, then into the egg and milk bowl, then into the breadcrumb bowl.
- Place breaded onions onto baking sheet, bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Set aside fried onions and reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Combine condensed cream of mushroom soup, milk and (blanched) green beans into a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Mix together well.
- Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 minutes or until the mixture is hot and bubbling.
- Remove from oven, stir the mixture, and add in the fried onions.
