Italian Parsley
Description
Italian parsley is rich in vitamin K and provides vitamins A and C, meaning it helps to support a healthy immune system and strong bones. Use it in salads, dressings and pesto to brighten up your dish in both flavor and color.
Storage
Place parsley in a plastic bag with a sprinkle of water, then store in the crisper drawer of the refrigerator. Parsley can also be stored by cutting off a little of the base of the stem and then placing the parsley stem side down in a glass of water and covering with a plastic bag before placing in the refrigerator. Water should be changed every day or two.
