Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup Cal-Organic Lacinato Kale
  • 1 cup Cal-Organic Red Chard
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon Himalayan pink salt
  • 2 tablespoons toasted pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
  • Serve with 1 cup of sliced nectarines

Directions

1. Wash the kale and chard, strip the leaves from the stems, and roughly chop.

2. Add the oats, water, kale, chard, mushrooms, nutritional yeast, and salt to a medium pot.

3. Bring to a low boil, stir, cover, and reduce heat to low for 8 minutes. Check once or twice to ensure the mixture isn’t sticking to the bottom of the pan.

4. Top with pumpkin and hemp seeds and serve with a side of sliced nectarines.
