Serves: 4-6 people

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cal-Organic celery, chopped
  • 1 cup elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup Cal-Organic cabbage, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Cal-Organic/Bunny Luv carrots, sliced
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 8 oz. tomato sauce
  • 1 cup peas, canned
  • 1 zucchini, sliced
  • 1 lb kidney beans, canned
  • 1/8 tsp. sage
  • 10 cups water
  • 3 beef bouillon cube
  • 4 Tbsp. Cal-Organic parsley, chopped
  • 2 cups Cal-Organic onions, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup oil

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in large pot. Add garlic, onion, celery and parsley; cook until soft.
  2. Stir in tomato sauce, bouillon cubes, water, cabbage, carrots, salt, pepper and sage. Bring to a boil. Lower heat, cover and simmer slowly for 1 hour. Add remaining ingredients.
  3. Cook 10 to 15 minutes or until macaroni is tender.
