Description

This plant, a cross between a turnip and a cabbage, offers many health benefits such as high levels of vitamin C, which benefit your digestive health. Due to its firm texture and mild flavor, rutabaga is an excellent substitute for potatoes.

Storage

Prior to storage, twist off greens. Bag the greens and rutabaga separately in a plastic bag and store in the crisper drawer of the refrigerator.
